Ambers Army

In 2019, Amber, my daughters little friend was diagnosed with a Brain tumour. She fought and fought so hard, and managed to ring the bell in 2020 after kicking cancers butt and hand standing her way through various treatments including chemotherapy.

Life was good.

Then Amber and her family received the devastating news in April 2022 her tumour had returned. Terminal. Consultants said to her family to start making memories and so it began.

Amber done so many things in those short months, and she was always trying to wear a smile. Amber AND her family and nothing less than an absolute inspiration. To live and love every day as no day is guaranteed.

Amber spent her last months at the Nook Hospice which is why me and grace my 4 year old daughter will be doing the bubble run for EACH in July. Our tickets go straight towards them. But I’d love to be able to raise money for Ambers Army specifically too.

Those of us who knew Amber will be touched by her kind nature, independence, courage, ability to smile at the worst of times and her excellent ability to look after others more than herself.
