Thank you for taking the time to listen. Let's just start off by saying this year isn't exactly how I planned it to begin.  I had envisioned my move from San Jose, California to New Mexico, Albuquerque to have some possible bumps, but nothing like this. Set to leave tomorrow I have everything I own packed in my car ready for the 16 hour long drive. Yesterday evening I had an unfortunate event of thieves breaking into my car, and rummaged through my things stealing what was of value, including a hidden $1000. All while my dog was in the car. When I found my car window smashed and my things lying on the sidewalk my heart just sank. At first I thought they stole my dog, but then I found him curled up scared and covered in glass. It was some emotional relief to find that he wasn't hurt in the process, but I could imagine how traumatic it was for him.  I have put all my funds towards this move, except that $1000 which was from my security deposit. It was just enough to get me by for the drive, and the cost of living before I get my first paycheck. My start date is set for the 12th of January, and I need to not let this kick me off my set path. With anyone's help I would appreciate you beyond anything. Please help me get home, thank you.
