My mom (KATHIE CRAWFORD) has colon cancer

Well, the news is officially out. My mom has colon cancer. Yup.  We were truly praying to be in the 5% & were sadly informed when she wasn't. We very recently found out the diagnosis & those immediately affected have been contacted. We are asking for help. Cancer doesn't just destroy your body & mind, it also, very unfortunately, destroys your bank account.

I'm starting this fundraiser to assist with her medical expenses, as there will be plenty. Here is what we know in this moment;

*Colonoscopy confirms colon cancer

*CT scan shows minimal spread.

*STAT x-rays, bloodwork, CT scans, & ultra sounds are in process

*We will meet with the surgeon for staging after all Stat tests are completed

*It has not been staged

*Resectioning surgery is required

*Clean-Up chemo is required.

This is all we know at this time. I will of course keep everyone updated on the progress! We are entering a very new, very jolting chapter of our lives as we face this thing head on, together.

I am asking for assistance with medical expenses; Dr visits, Co pays, surgeries & other out of pocket expenses that just keep adding up   I don't ask for help often, but during this trying & emotional time I need all the help that I can get. I thank you all for your love & support and I truly am hoping for the best. We all are. Anything will help, Thank you.

Update 04/23/2022; it is Stage IIc colon cancer. Surgery has been scheduled for May 1st and the first MAJOR out of pocket expense! Anything will help! Even sharing!!
