Help a family stay together

Hi, my name is Corrina Bowers and I'm trying to raise money to be able to keep my younger sister, my mom and I off the streets. My mom is terminally ill, and declining pretty rapidly. During the summer we got news that our place had sold and we would have to leave. We have lived here for probably close to 10 years. Originally the date was set for September 30th, we took it to the Tenancy board and fought to buy us more time. we lost and were given until Jan 31st. I have been trying and trying to find a place since the summer, but we are already in the middle of a housing crisis, I have pets, and I have to be able to afford the place after my mom passes away. My mom is on palliative care now, but I am still her full time caregiver at home so i'm currently unable to work, and I had to stop attending my classes at the college. Moving is already very expensive and stressful, but adding having nowhere to go, and planning a funeral just makes it unbelievably stressful. My sister is in her senior year of highschool, which also makes the situation harder. She has her yearbook graduation pictures on the 30th, and on the 31st we will be facing homelessness. I have reached out to everyone I can think of, we are on the low income housing lists, We have a social worker, Im working with turning points. Nothing seems to be working out. We have secured a storage unit, but those are fairly pricey. Our hope/plan for now is to stay in a hotel until we can find a stable place to live, but monthly hotel rates are not cheap either. Never in my life did I think I would be trying to choose a funeral home for my mom, while also trying to find a place to live. My sister and I are already losing our momma, so having to give up our cats for a place would crush us.

Any funds raised will go towards paying for a hotel, and the storage unit.

I'm not the kind of person that usually asks for help. Anyone that knows me,knows that is true. I am stubborn and I usually struggle silently, but I have struggled in silence long enough and this battle I cannot take on alone.
