YMCA Circus Crash Mat Fundraiser

Hello, my name is Amy. I am the founder of the YMCA Circus Academy and although I’ve stepped down as Director, I’m still a big supporter! As I’ve been continuing to help with this program, I’ve been watching it grow! Especially our aerials classes! The advanced aerials group has doubled in size! The new Director Tanya Schmidt is doing a great job with the program! With this new growth, the program is in need of additional crash mats to provide a continued safe space for these talented youth acrobats. Tanya and our McDonough Co. YMCA are as committed to safety as I was! Secondary to the ratio of aerialists to crash mats, the girls are limited on how much time they can spend training on a certain apparatus with our safety rules and guidelines. If we could raise funds to purchase a few extra crash mats this program could continue to grow in a safe manner. This will allow the Ymca to use its current funds on staffing and updating hardware for equipment when needed, and all the other essentials.

This gofundme is just a personal fundraiser I have started to help supplement our local Ymca and help provide a few extra crash mats and a safe space for these talented acrobats to land. Please join me in giving a little if you’re able during this upcoming thankful and giving season.
