Poppy Appeal

Hi, My name is Andrew Ralph. I am working closely with Michael Chambers, a fellow veteran. Mike created a Remembrance Run in Sandbach, Cheshire, pre-Covid and had a great response with two weeks lead time; over 80 people showed up and ran 11km to remember the fallen veterans that made the ultimate sacrifice. This year we are combining the run with a Remembrance Festival. Over the years, like so many others, we have paidthe our respects the traditional way, and we want to encourage that, but we want to do something different for our community. We have also noticed that the younger generation turning up to remembrance parades have declined. This is why Mike has created the Remembrance Festival; we will have a whole day of remembrance on the 12th of November 2022, the day before the traditional parades take place.
Let’s Remember them together!
Below is a rough itinerary; these are very early days so the timings may change.

We have many local supporters from the business community who are providing food, entertainment and gifts to raise money for the poppy appeal. We are so excited to be able to support the community together, and as veterans, myself and Mike are very grateful for everyone’s support; from the bottom of our hearts, we say THANK YOU
Lastly, I would like to mention that we are looking for additional funds to cover the Remembrance Festival's operating cost so we can bring this to life.
Sincerely
Andrew & Mike
