Jan Pierson Fire Relief Fund
Donation protected
On August 14,2015 Jan (Bryant) Pierson, a long time Chelan local and Pateros native tragically lost her home of 34 years to The Chelan Fire Complex. With little to no warning, Jan escaped on foot with only the clothes on her back.
Jan and her late husband Walt committed 40 combined years to Lake Chelan School District, Jan a Para-pro working one on one with special needs students and Walt the FFA (Future Farmers Of America) advisor and teacher. After losing Walt to Cancer in 2003, Jan has fought her own 7 year courageous battle with cancer. The Piersons are the definition of perseverance. The Pierson household was a home to more than just those that lived there. Anyone who knows the Pierson family knows what they have given to this community, and now is our time to give back to them. We are hoping to cover the cost of clothing, medical needs, and other basic essential items for Jan.
