Injured Journeyman Lineman Brandon Weigel

This fundraiser is for Brandon and Sarah Weigel. Brandon is a Journeyman Lineman (IBEW Local 760) who was injured while working on an energized powerline on April 24, 2023. After making contact, he sustained significant burns to his left arm and right hand. He was flown to Vanderbilt University Hospital. He had surgery for a nerve release, fasciotomy, and escharotomy. He was moved to the Burn ICU afterward.

As of April 28, 2023, it is still uncertain when he will return home. Brandon and his wife Sarah have two little ones at home. They do not live close to Vanderbilt, so travel expenses are an extra burden. Sarah's role is changing from being a line wife to an advocate and caretaker for her husband.

We hope to raise money to help with medical, travel, and everyday living expenses. Having been through this ourselves, we know that life is still happening outside this tragic event and the tremendous impact that friends, family, and donations will have on his situation.
