Yogi (10 years) and Loki (9 years) have spent their lives fighting to survive. Rescued as puppies from an illegal dog-fighting ring, they were saved by Yasi - the only person who ever truly loved them. When she had to relocate to the States, she believed she had left them in the best of care with their new adopter.

Unfortunately, that was not to be and they ended up being passed from place to place. Their living conditions steadily worsened with each move - locked away in shrinking rooms, fed only once a day, never walked, never played with. Once beloved, they became forgotten.

Then, the unthinkable happened. The last place they were staying kicked them out and they were seized by the police, who planned to dump them in the desert in Askar where they would surely starve to death, if not shot by the police first! It is a poorly hidden, well documented fact that this is our country's way of reducing the stray population. After everything they had already endured, this was to be their final punishment - for simply existing.

It was a brave and kindhearted rescuer named Jisun who fought for their freedom, paying a large bribe to rescue them!

Now, we have a chance to change their fate. We are raising funds to send Yogi and Loki to the United States, where they can be reunited with Yasi and live out their final years in peace.
