Yolanda Thompson Memorial Fund
Donation protected
On Thursday, September 26th, Yolanda Thompson fell ill with an odd infection and was hospitalized. After starting to get better, she took a turn for the absolute worse and went into organ failure on Sunday morning. Against all efforts made by her wonderful medical team, Yolanda passed away on the evening of September 29th. This came out of left field, and no one can yet explain exactly what happened or why. All we know is that she left behind a husband and three daughters who are beside themselves with grief.
Yolanda was one of the most caring and compassionate people you'd ever meet. Because of her own life struggles, she was quick to empathize and slow to judge. As a devout follower of Christ, she strived to see the good in people. Her legacy is her daughters- three fantastic young women who are a product of their mother's love and example. She fiercely loved her family and friends, and the world now glows less brightly in her absence.
Medical and funeral expenses, along with the overwhelming cost of single parenthood, now place an unnecessary burden on her best friend and husband, Greg. Suddenly forced to navigate life without his partner and the mother of his children, any monetary donations you can spare will be thankfully utilized. And if you can't donate financially, please, keep Greg, the girls, and the rest of their family in your prayers.
A viewing will be held this Friday morning, October 4th at 10:00, followed by the funeral service at 11:00. Both will take place at the LDS meetinghouse 275 South 1400 East, Spanish Fork Utah.
