Yorkshire 3 peaks for Sofia

On Thursday 2nd December I received a message from one of my closest friends telling me her 21 month old daughter has lesions on her liver presumed cancer, after further scans the worst news was confirmed, hepatoblastoma, liver cancer. As you can imagine this is horrendous news for any parent/family to hear. Her treatment started straight away and the year ahead will be filled with hospital appointments , chemotherapy, scans, the doctors are positive that this is treatable but understandably this year is going to have an impact on the family. A massive £10200 has been raised for the ward that will treat Sofia during her stay at hospital.

On April 16th a group of us are going to be walking the Yorkshire 3 peaks to raise the funds that will gift a family trip for when the treatment is over. This will help give them something to look forward to and help them rebuild memories and time they will have missed after a year that no parents should have to go through.
