YorkTechFest 2019 is a Tech Conference to showcase the Tech Non-Profit communities in York. We bring together over 10 tech non-profit communities on one evening showcasing a programme of speakers and interactive workshops.
But for the event to take place we need your help!
We are aiming to make this years’ YorkTechFest 2019 event free! - If we meet our crowdfunding target.
Aimed at members of existing volunteer tech communities and also to those who would like to have a taster of what we do – come and be involved!
YorkTechFest 2019 will be delivered on Monday 28th October from 6pm at York Explore Library and Archive , Museum Street, York. Here is the speaker and festival programme .
Who runs YorkTechFest?
YorkTechFest is run by YorkDevelopers – a registered Charity who primary aim is to grow and develop tech non-profit communities. YorkDevelopers are partnering with Explore a mutual benefit society with charitable status, owned by staff and community members and contracted by the City of York Council to deliver a library and archive service across the city.
How do I get a ticket for the event?
Tickets will be released 2 weeks before the event on Monday 14th October and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

Suggested Donations from Individuals – as much or as little as you would like! :-)
Donations from Businesses
If you wish to be considered as an event partner then please contact us to register your interest. We are expecting demand to be high. Once your application is confirmed by reply, you have two options:
1) YorkDevelopers can invoice you for the full amount on 7 day terms
2) Register your donation through this GoFundMe site before the deadline of Friday 11th October.
Sponsorship Packages
Bronze Sponsorship - £50-£100 - You get:
- A "shout out" for your company on YorkTechFest Twitter.
Silver Sponsorship - £100-£250 - You get the Bronze package plus
- Your logo on our YorkTechFest web site.
Gold Sponsorship - £250-£500 - You get the Silver package plus
- Your company name displayed on a screen on the evening (between speaking slots)
Platinum Sponsorship - Over £500 - You get the Gold package plus
- An option of a stand within our Marketplace area (stand space dimensions available on request)
Please note: Donations made through GoFundMe without acceptance of sponsorship from YorkDevelopers does not entitle you to the above packages and refund will be available.
