Joe Pine Coffee Co. opened in September 2017 and is located in the heart of downtown Marshall. Joe Pine loves the community of Marshall--our shop (from founders to baristas to guests) seeks to serve this  community in everything we do. Our daily business is focused intently on creating a space that fosters community within our community, a place for strangers to make friends, friends to share a drink, and families to make memories. Your gifts will support our community in a variety of ways.

First, the coffee we purchase from our Texas-based roasters supports our local economy AND is the lifeline for families AROUND THE WORLD. Our roasters maintain great relationships with families who are working hard to put food on the table. Every cup of coffee purchased at Joe Pine supports baristas, families, roasters and communities. In this way, we are all Joe Pine -- we're all working to make the most of a really difficult time and be there for the people who need our support the most, right now.

Secondly, we currently employ 10 baristas -- college students who are pursuing their goals while maintaining a steady job to pay for living expenses. Our team consists of newlyweds, soon-to-be college grads (next month to be specific!), a nearly-wed and students working hard to obtain degrees in the nursing, teaching and church ministry fields. As we transition into summer, we need to be able to start training a new team of baristas to serve our community when these guys take their next big life steps.

Finally, during this pandemic, while we are unable to fill our shop with members of our community, WE HAVE PLEDGED until the end of April, to serve our community by providing FREE COFFEE AND TEA TO ALL MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS AND FIRST-RESPONDERS.

This September will mark the end of our third year in business, a milestone for any small-business. Yet, when we imagined what 2020 would bring,  we never imagined the tumultuous time that we all face. We've worked hard to make wise business decisions every step of the way and this moment is a critical test that we must face to continue to thrive as a business. We plan to celebrate BIG this year -- and we're already looking to that day with thankfulness in our hearts for people like YOU who are going to help us get there. While it threatens the physical and financial health of our communities, this pandemic has also begun to bring out the best in our community. We are so grateful that we get to be part of this special city. We hope that you will do whatever you can to ensure that we will be a part of Marshall, TX for years to come.
