"You Are Loved" Billboard in Billings, Montana.

We are proudly showing our love, support, and celebration of our Billings LGBTQIA+ community by erecting a billboard proclaiming, “YOU ARE LOVED.” During this time of upheaval and change, this is a powerful way to show up, speak out, and make a difference because love in a time of hate is a revolutionary act.

The billboard on the corner of 24th Street and Grand Avenue will feature original artwork by Rae @transpainter. The beautiful graphic features an LGBTQIA+ flag, beautiful rainbow florals, and the message “YOU ARE LOVED.”

Billings is a strong and thriving community with a diverse population. This is not the first time the Billings community has been called upon to show love and support for their beloved neighbors. In 1995, after a rash of hate crimes, the people of Billings rose in solidarity. They spoke out in love during a time of hate. They took action rather than watching from the sidelines. At the time, Sherif Wayne Inman said, “Hate groups have learned through experience that if a community doesn’t respond, then the community accepts.” The Love and Support shown by the Billings community inspired a nation* and led to the formation of Not In Our Town. This nonprofit moved forward, “working together for safe and inclusive communities.” Due to recent national events, many of our beloved friends, family, and neighbors again feel alone, scared, and under attack. We must Respond!

Please donate to show our brothers, sisters, friends, and neighbors in the LGBTQIA+ Community that they are seen, heard, and loved by their city!

The money raised will cover the printing cost of the vinal billboard art and three months' rent of the billboard space. Any extra funds will extend the display, support Rae @transpainter, and fund local LGBTQIA+ organizations.
