✨ Victor Delapa - help Moonshine shine again… ✨

Allow me to introduce Victor Delapa (owner of Moonshine Supper Club, in Millburn) lovingly known as the Notorious V.I.C. - he’s Notorious for helping others.  Now, he needs OUR help…

to rebuild.

This man would give the shirt off his back. Which he did repeatedly (and selflessly) during the pandemic. He single handedly kept running during covid - out there day after day with one motive, to HELP OTHERS.  He aided in feeding countless first responders, hospitals, nurses, elderly, and anyone else that was in need. This time however, the shirt was off his back - trying to salvage his restaurant as it floated away before his eyes.

Best of nj.com named him one of NJ latest heroes… for “working tirelessly to provide meals to the hospitals  and front line workers in his community, including Overlook Hospital (Summit), Summit Medical Group Cancer Center (Florham Park) and the VA hospital (East Orange).” To name just a few. “The devastation they suffered is awful….Entire basement submerged in 5ft of water and the basement houses the entire operation- the electric panel was completely submerged, AV and computer systems, all refrigeration and freezer, thousands of dollars of food, major kitchen components, entire bar stock including their wine library, all files, thousands in moonshine merchandise, and that’s just a start. It is sickening to see. Full kegs just floating. Structures ripped off the wall...”
