You can do your part in fighting injustice

Donation protected
Kenya is a young Denver business woman, choreographer, designer, & artist who has to put all her income, talents and commissions to a halt for months due to this unfortunate incident. She was headed to work while on her skateboard and was struck by a vehicle. Due to her injuries on the scene, she was taken to the hospital by an ambulance. Once she arrived to the ER she was tested and x-rays were taken. After being cleared to go home, she was approached by officers and cited for causing the accident. She found the situation to be unfair. The officers showed no remorse and gave the driver who hit her a pass. After reviewing the police reports Kenya was able to identify the person that hit her as a employee of the Englewood Police Department. At this moment, she's unable to go into further details because there is a pending case. After exhausting the help from friends and family she’s now asking the community for help in funding the attorney fees to fight this injustice. She also hopes by winning this case she is able to help stop this type of injustice from happening to anyone, and everyone, effected by the abuse of police authority. Thank you in advance
