You can help Kim Rideout beat esophageal cancer
Donation protected
As many of you have heard, Kim was diagnosed with Stage 3 Esophageal Cancer in August and has begun the fight of her life. She is fighting for survival. Kim started aggressive chemotherapy in September and she will have the tumor and her entire stomach removed in December and then more chemotherapy. After surgery, Kim will live the rest of her life with no stomach.
Her best odds to beat this is an integrated approach. (A combination of conventional treatment combined with alternative treatments that can be VERY expensive.)
As you are likely aware, Kim is an extremely talented self employed artist. Kim’s career has never been driven by money but rather by passion and now her career will be put on hold. It will be spring time at the earliest before she will be able to resume work again.
If you know her, you will agree that Kim can only be described as selfless. She is an angel on earth who time and time again gives her time, her talents and love to friends and strangers alike. She has donated thousands of dollars worth of art work for a multitude of community initiatives. Her most admirable donation of all time - On April 24,2018 Kim underwent major surgery to donate her 2/3 of her liver to a childhood friend in order to save his life.
In addition, Kim’s three children are all currently attending post- secondary education. Now is the time that Kim really needs our help. Financial stress is a burden that she shouldn’t have to carry right now. Please consider a donation to help Kim with some of the expenses. It doesn’t matter how big or small. Every little bit helps. Thank you.
