Dad you be will forever be in our hearts

James Lane "Jimmy"  passed away last week after a month-long battle in the hospital from Covid. He was a son, brother, best friend, and most importantly, he was a father.  He leaves behind a daughter Caitlyn, just shy of turning 22, who rushed home from college to be by his bedside.  Caitlyn is now left to pick up the pieces and can't do this without the help of her/our community.  His beautiful daughter, like most young adults, was not prepared for this emotionally or financially.  Due to his unexpected passing, she is left with the financial burden no child should ever have to bear.  Along with the cost needed for burial, she will need to go through legal proceedings to settle his estate. Because of the fast onset and severity of Covid, there was no ability to make arrangements prior to his passing. As you can imagine, her grief is interrupted and her day to day is a rollercoaster. We are asking for help and this is where you are being asked to give anything you can, even if it is just prayers of strength, a share, and/or the change in your couch.  If we, as a community, can offer $1, $5, $10, $20, any amount will help to lessen the financial burden stowed upon her.  This in return, will allow her to grieve the sudden loss of her father without the stress of the financial/legal stuff.  Her father worked very hard in the HVAC field for over 35 years upon returning from his time serving for the USMC.  Jim presently was employed with Blairco Heating & Air Conditioning in Vancouver WA, up to the time of his death. For those who didn't know Jim personally, he was an Alaskan native, who resided in Washington state for over 35 years.  He enjoyed woodworking, working on vehicles, taking care of his property, and helping friends and family with home repairs.  He was willing to help those who asked and in return, we ask that you help his daughter so that she can return to college and continue in her education toward the future her father supported and would have loved to be a part of.  Any amount, big or small, does and will make a difference...and in advance, we thank you. In loving memory of a life so beautifully lived & a heart so deeply loved.
