OUR STORY:

Both Sacramento locals, Renee Sava (Creator, Writer and Director) and Miranda Forcier (Producer, Casting Director and Lead Actress) are thrilled to be producing a female led, scripted pilot in Sacramento, set to film in May 2024. Both coming from diverse and unique television and film backgrounds, Renee and Miranda intend to turn this into a long running series, to continue to grow and create more opportunities to what is already a fast growing and eager film community in Sacramento.

WHAT IS A TV PILOT:

Typically a television pilot is a "proof of concept" or "test run" for a series to see their chances at success. A pilot is intended to be sold to a network to green light a series to be produced into multiple seasons.

SYNOPSIS:

Inspired by true events, “You Had A Bad Day” is a drama comedy about 25 year old, Sacramento native Arianna, eager to leave her hometown and carve her path to success in Hollywood, but faces many hilariously relatable adversities due to her, naivety, mental health struggles and undiagnosed ADHD.

WHY DONATE:

Being that this pilot is independently produced, your donations are greatly appreciated as it will go towards film permits, locations, paying our cast and crew, props, camera, lighting, crafty, transportation and the list goes on. You will be supporting two local filmmakers vision of producing this series, while also creating potential future job opportunity for other like minded and creative individuals!

This is also an opportunity to contribute to a television pilot and future series that while meant to be a drama/comedy, discusses hard topics like mental health, specifically ADHD.
