Support Youjin Lee & Her Family

Many of us know Youjin as a cheerful, boba-loving friend and classmate. But tragically, she was just diagnosed with stage 4 gastric cancer and abdominal metastasis. She has already been hospitalized given the advanced nature of her illness. Last week, Youjin underwent major laparoscopic surgery to completely remove her stomach as well as parts of her intestine and omentum. Depending on her prognosis, Youjin will likely need to go through chemotherapy or other surgeries in the coming weeks.

 

Please help support Youjin and her family by contributing to her cancer treatment. Health insurance will only cover a fraction of the total cost of medical care, and her family in South Korea (who rely on Youjin's income) cannot afford the many thousands of dollars needed for her surgeries, hospitalization, and possible chemotherapy.
