Young actors fundraising to end youth homelessness

Hi, we are Lennox, Mae and Naomi and recently we finished filming for a screen series where we play three school kids who are making a documentary about homelessness. It’s called Plausible Deniability and you can watch it here. While the series is a dark-comedy about the politics of homelessness, the issue of homelessness is a real problem in our society, and we wanted to do something to help.

We are raising funds for Kids Under Cover, a charity that supports the prevention of youth homelessness. They support young people by building studios to provide stable accommodation and offer education scholarships to keep them in school.

Lennox: When I decided to donate some of what I earnt from the show to Kids Under Cover, it was a lot of money to me, but I felt like it wasn’t enough on its own to make the difference I wanted. I was thinking to maybe invest the money and wait for it to grow big enough to make a much bigger donation, but that would take so many years! So instead, I’ve teamed up with my castmates from the show, Mae White and Naomi Ejigu, and together we'd like to ask for your support too!

We're hoping that together with you, we can raise $10,000 for Kids Under Cover. It’s a big goal, but by putting our donations together every little bit counts towards making this happen.

Please donate, so that we can get in early to give young people at risk of being homeless the support they need to turn things around to have a better chance of creating a much brighter future for themselves.
