Young Artist Needs Art Supplies Lost to Fire

Donation protected
Lauren Hovland is a young artist who lost all of her work and art supplies as a result of a fire in downtown Escanaba that destroyed two buildings and took the life of one resident. Her apartment next to the fire was not burned but suffered heavy smoke and water damage. All of her art and supplies were lost. She lost everything in her apartment and was displaced. She is becoming know for her art in the community. She has been volunteering painting scenes for Players de Noc and selling art at the Escanaba Pop-Up Market and other venues. To be able to be ready for this summer season, she needs supplies. She is my niece, living in our building. It suffered extensive damage from the fire, displacing not only her but artists at the art gallery below. Please consider helping her, to give her a jump start on creating again.
