Young Family Battling Hard to Beat Cancer

The Jenner family: Amy, Ella, Mya and baby Halo. This GoFundMe started today, the 4th of May - Halo's due date. She has been earth side almost 6 weeks today, as she was delivered prematurely to save Amy's life. She is only 28 years old.

Amy found out she had aggressive breast cancer in August 2022. With two young girls, Ella (6) and Mya (2) to care for, Amy knew she was in for the fight of her life, for her life. Only a few short weeks later, Amy learned that against all odds, she was expecting another baby with her partner. They were told that baby Halo would not make it, and to choose between Amy's life, and that of her unborn baby. But in a show of Amy's true strength, she refused to believe she needed to lose either, and they firmly insisted the pregnancy continue.

When Amy was 12 weeks pregnant, she underwent a double mastectomy, with two incredible surgeons who worked together to remove both breasts to halve the anesthetic time for Halo's safety. In the days that followed, Halo's heartbeat slowed dramatically, but Amy told her over and over to be strong. Throughout the pregnancy, numerous doctors gave Amy heartbreaking news: your baby will die; your baby will have Down syndrome; you will die if you do not start chemo immediately.

Through the fear, the heartbreak and her own battle, Amy stayed strong and incredibly positive, and on the 28th of March, Halo was delivered via emergency C-Section and whisked to NICU. Amy was incredibly unwell at this point, but even more buoyed to FIGHT this battle and win, for her three little girls, and her complete family.

Amy is having aggressive chemotherapy currently, which leaves her very unwell and unable to get out of bed. Amy's family and friends have rallied around to help as she recovers from the chemo, however, it is a temporary solution. Amy has 5 more rounds of chemo confirmed, and then 12her2 treatments. The future is uncertain. Despite this Amy remains unwaveringly positive, and happy and insists she is blessed. She is the strongest person I have ever met, and we ask that you to send positive and healthy thoughts to Amy, as she firmly believes mindset is everything.
