Young family devastated and need your help

WE’RE PREGNANT!!!!!!!!! They screamed!!! Taylor (29 years old) and Jesse ( 29 years old) struggled with infertility for over two years, experiencing heartbreak month after month with not one positive test. After numerous fertility appointments and medicated cycles, Taylor and Jesse began their IVF journey after their wedding in 2022. What a beautiful wedding it was, so much love and happiness.

After 1 failed round, they received the news they had been longing for, their 2nd round was successful, and they were expecting a baby girl in May 2023. Taylor and Jesse were over the moon and couldn’t be more excited to finally share the news with their family and friends.

“Billie Mae Johnston” was born on the 19th of May 2023, after a 25-hour labour and a scary emergency c section. Mum, and Dad both overjoyed to finally have their beautiful and healthy baby girl in their arms. Finally, they had their beautiful baby girl in their arms. Happiness quickly turned to numbness and shock! Billie was 10 days old when their world was turned upside down. The words still echoed in their ears…….. Taylor was informed that she had suspected cervical cancer.

Billie still in her first couple of months in this world, when her mother started extensive hospital appointments, MRI’s, PET scans and the dreaded waiting of the unknown, but all they cared about was their beautiful baby girl was in their arms. They were so happy. Their world was complete. Then the hospital started asking for Taylor to stay overnight for more tests, the concerns grew…..

After weeks of worry and being separated from Billie, Taylor, and Jesse, along with their family and friends, were devastated when Taylor received a new diagnoses of bone marrow cancer. Not just any cancer, this is potentially terminal. We are unable to find the source of where the cancer has grown from…….. Their world stood still. Broken, heartbroken, shattered, numb. The air is sucked from your lungs. You can’t breathe.

Jesse is unable to work. Taylor is unable to be the mother she wants to be to her newborn baby. She is unable to have her baby by her side overnight whilst she goes through chemotherapy which started this evening. Any mother’s worst nightmare. Just to hold her during the night. To smell her.. To feel her. The unknown.

This family need you. They need your help and support. It’s time that we help and give back to these two that have given to so many of us in our community.
