Young Focus "No Work No Rice No Pay" Corona Virus

The Walt Whitman Young Focus Club is raising money for the Young Focus rice distribution campaign in Tondo, Philippines! Young Focus is an organization that means a lot to the co-founders of the club, Sofia Arulpragasam and Sahana Ashley who used to live in Manila.

Young Focus is an NGO that supports the families in the slum area of Manila through education and social care.

Please donate towards the rice distribution to help us support the 1000 families who are part of Young Focus programs and are directly impacted by the Corona virus pandemic! The virus has caused a lockdown in Manila. This has a huge impact on the poor who are dependent on daily wages. No work = no pay…. So, no food on the table… Young Focus wants to distribute 15 kg of rice to each family.

We would like to help them during these difficult times. As a club we are gathering online donations and will send all the donations to Young Focus to help with their efforts.
