Donate to help Young Kim fight cancer

Hi, my name is Alona and I'm fundraising to help Young and Abigail Kim cover costs while Young fights colon cancer. Young and Abigail got married in September 2020. They met when Abigail started taking Taekwondo classes, and Young was her Taekwondo instructor. Last year they opened their own Taekwondo Studio and they have been working hard to build a wholesome environment where kids and families can train together. About a month ago, Young went to the doctor with some intestinal and digestive concerns. He was diagnosed with colon cancer that has spread to his lymph nodes. He is currently recovering from surgery to remove the mass in his colon and will start chemotherapy soon. Meanwhile, Abigail is running their business and classes on her own while also caring for Young's recovery. They are facing financial hardship now due to having to cancel events at the business, and temporary class closures, which is also difficult since the business is still new. Young’s health insurance is proving less than helpful in covering the onslaught of medical bills, although their hospital is fortunately working with them to help cover medical costs. Please help these newlyweds make ends meet and fight medical debts so that Young can focus on healing.
