A Young Mothers battle against stage 4 Cancer
Donation protected
Hi everyone, I am creating this fundraiser to help my cousin Iqra Ahmed, who currently lives in Pakistan and has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer. As many may know, stage 4 Cancer is usually not cureable. The cancer cells have already spread throughout her body at this stage. Most advanced-stage cancer patients in Pakistan are denied treatment because most hospitals have limited resources. Private treatment to help prolong survival and improve the quality of life is available. However, it is highly costly (approx 30K Canadian dollars or 43 Lakh rupees), which her family can not afford. They are also downsizing their home to help pay for a portion of her radiation and chemotherapy. I am fundraising to help provide as much financial assistance as possible to make these difficult times easier on her family.
A little About Iqra:
She is 27 years old and has a daughter named Fatima who is 9 months old. Fatima was born with Anophthalmia (A congenital disability) and a heart condition.
I will be withdrawing the funds and sending them to Iqra via Western Union/Money gram by May 31st. All proceedings will go to Iqra's treatment. Your donation will help slow the growth of cancer and prolong the life expectancy of a mother who will have more time with her daughter.
I kindly thank you for your support. Please share.
