Young Other - US Tour Fundraiser

Hey everyone! We’re Young Other, a Modern Rock Band from Worcester, Massachusetts. Earlier this month, solely with your help, we won a six-round competition through Danny Wimmer Presents on a live-streaming platform called Twitch. The competition granted us a spot on the Escape The Fate and The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus tour, “The Dead Masquerade Tour 2”, along with performing the main stage at this year’s Welcome To Rockville in Daytona, Florida. These opportunities are something that we have only once dreamed of, and could open unimaginable doors for us as a band with our upcoming music releases. ❤️

On April 24th, we’ll begin our 725 mile journey down to Greensboro, North Carolina, where our tour's first date begins. As some may know, touring costs for smaller, upcoming bands are very expensive. With the rising prices of fuel, food, rentals, photography, videography, and hotel expenses, we will be spending hundreds of dollars a day on the road as we travel from city to city. Along with the costs that revolve around traveling expenses, we will be spending thousands of dollars on preparation items like in-stock merch for our shows, replacement drum heads, drum sticks, guitar and bass strings, and other gear expenses like batteries to keep our wireless systems functioning.

Normally when preparing for a run of shows, we would set up a hometown event that would help us raise money through merch sales to offset the price of fuel. Still, with the tour starting in less than a month, we are limited on time to be able to book one of these shows to help raise money for ourselves on top of the amount of preparation we have left to do. This is why we have looked to set up a fan-funded campaign to provide an option for anyone looking to help us out alongside this journey of ours. Any amount, and every single dollar gifted will help us immensely as we travel from state to state performing, and growing closer towards reaching what our hearts have always dreamed of. Throughout the tour, we plan on live-streaming on Twitch while on the road to bring each and every one of you on this journey with us, and we plan on having a lot of documentation of both photos and videos to share with you when we're home. ✨
