Pilgrimage to Lourdes to help the unable.

Hi, my name is Katie May and in the summer, I plan to travel to Lourdes with a group of my friends (aged 16-18) in order to support and assist the elderly and physically unable. The people we are assisting will be mainly wheelchair users who cannot travel to each mass and service independently. The experience will be extremely beneficial to our development of faith and will be an incredible opportunity to give back to our worldwide christian community. We are based in the UK and are going on behalf of Sacred Heart High School Hammersmith, an all-girls faith school in west London. There are 11 of us travelling at approximately £900 each. Despite the high cost, everyone selected to travel is passionate about their faith and will work hard to raise the money before our departure in mid July. Each of us have our own reasons for wanting to take the opportunity to help the less able in our community and will all be grateful for every penny donated.
