Young Widows & Widowers Support Group

Thank you so much for your generous donation to the Young Widow and Widower Support Group. Your donation will go towards paying overheads such as government fees; support group telephone number; website; public liability insurance and required subscriptions.

Our group does not receive any government funding and consists of volunteers only. Our coordinator, Beth Gundry, is integral in keeping this group going and helping so many of us face the next chapter in our lives.

This group plays an integral role in helping many young women and men who have lost their partner at a young age. They often find themselves feeling very isolated, alone and hopeless. Many struggle to cope with the added stress of continuing as a single parent raising children who are also grieving. There are very few resources available to help young adults through this process.

All members of the Young Widow and Widower Support Group have experienced the loss of their partner. We understand the feelings and life experiences that now confront you. We are not trained clinically, but provide peer to peer support to others with the same unfortunate life experience.

We are a government registered charity. Donations are fully tax deductible.
