Greetings everyone! My name is Ashley Graham and I am in need of your help. Before I get to why I need help let me share a little bit about who I am. I am a woman of God, wife and mother. I am a Special Education teacher by profession that has a heart for children. I have been working with children for over 10 years. I saw a need for young girls to have a safe space to blossom as well as a need for guidance. I decided that I wanted to be the person who provides that and more so I started Young Women with Purpose.

I am now in the process of making my mentoring organization into a 501 3c no profit. I currently provide young girls a safe space to be a girl. I also provide self esteem building tools, leadership skills, etiquette skills as well as guiding young girls into knowing their purpose in life. Each young girl I touch I want them to know that they are “Pretty With A Purpose!” Young Women With A Purpose is more than just a mentoring organization, It is MY MINISTRY! I am fundraising to help pay filing fees( state & federal) legal fees (attorney to make sure organization doesn’t run into any problems with the government) and grant writing fees (attorney will teach how to write grants for funding).

Right now my husband and I fund the organization ourselves even though we have 4 children of our own to support. Due to that we are limited in how many young girls we can reach and how much of an impact we can make in the community. We are also limited in the amount we can give back to the community. We want to make a bigger impact on the world and help as many people and girls as we can. By filing and completing the necessary paperwork to become a 501 3c we are able to apply for grants that will help us move forward by doing more.

My pastor gave me a message that was given to him before I moved to Texas! He shared with me that he must tell my that I am supposed to be using my gift that God gave me! I should be doing ministry and he shared that God told him that it doesn’t mean particularly in a church. I knew what he was speaking of. I moved to Texas July 2022 and in August 2022 I began my ministry! Now I just need you support!
