A Parent's Success Story...
My daughter received a scholarship via our school auction last year.  From the moment she stepped in to the Young at Art studio she felt right at home.  Over the past year, I have watched not only her love of art blossom, but also her personality and self esteem.  Her confidence in her talent is amazing and to see how excited she gets when she is working on a new project is every parent's wish for their children.  I am so thankful for Young at Art and Ms. Kim.

She has said to me it is a place where she feels most like herself. It gives her a sense of freedom and provides an environment that has structure without restrictions.
The location is ideal and the staff are warm and caring.

at Young At Art...
“The art lessons are so much fun! I always enjoy them. The teachers are the best are a very sweet. They are also very calm and patient. The projects we make include painting with water colors, painting fish, poetry, masks and more.” Trinity Robinson
This quote from my little girl sums up the excitement my little girl feels every time she talks about her art classes and her teachers at Young At Art.
Needless to say, once my little girl started the classes at Young At Art, she instantly loved them. This program fit a need for my little girl that other extra curricular activities did not. When the stipend from my little girl's school was used up, my little girl was devastated at the prospect of not being able to take any more classes art classes at Young At Art. Already stretched thin with a major car repair, simply put, if there was no scholarship available my little girl would no longer be able to take classes at Young At Art. These amazing art projects combined with fantastic teachers have allowed my little girl to tap into her creativity in a way that no other program could.
Thank you so much for Young at Art and please thank those who made the scholarship possible for my little girl to continue to attend. Without a doubt, this scholarship has allowed my little girl to participate in something I know I could not provide for her myself.

NEW LOCATION for Young At Art! It is just a few short blocks away from our old location at 4669 Niagara Ave, San Diego, Ca, 92107.

We offer close instruction with a well-rounded curriculum in these areas: Drawing, Painting, Pottery, Photogrphy, Sculpture & Crafts.

Did You Know?

The Community's Need:
Considering the impact that involvement in the arts has on the life of a child, it amazes us to see the drastic cuts in funding of the arts that continues in our public schools. We are here to fill that need, with your help.

Our children need and deserve a safe space to express themselves. Art heals the soul, and with so little opportunities to fill that need, Young At Art's presence in the community is more important than ever. 

Our Scholarship Program:
The Scholarship Program is the Heart & Soul behind our work, ensuring that underprivileged children gain the benefits that participation in the arts provides. 

To date, we have also held 15 Community Mural Projects, free for all who wish to participate.

Our 8th Annual Student Art Show & Fundraiser:
Every year we create a space for our children to display their work to their family and friends while raising much needed funds to continue our presence in the community. 

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, your donations are tax-deductible.
