My name is shoroq isawi , a photographer and civil engineer from Gaza. I had dreams, a personal business, my own photography studio, employees, and a successful professional life full of achievements and successes. I challenged myself since I was young to build my future and be proud of myself. My life was stable and peaceful until October 7th

Everything turned upside down, just like any innocent civilian in Gaza, as the occupation bombed the Tower of the Homeland that housed my photography studio, my dream office, and my source of livelihood, which also provided income for many others working with me

Day after day, I couldn't believe what was happening until I woke up from the dream too late, realizing that all the work data I had built over the years had vanished. I lost all my cameras, work equipment, and photos of people that adorned my office walls. Every day I discover a new martyr among them

After a while, my family and I were forced to leave our home in northern Gaza after the occupation threatened to evacuate all residents from the area. I found myself in a state of silent confusion, unsure if I would return to our home or not.

To this day, we know nothing about our house. Suddenly, everything turned to ashes, as if I had done nothing since my childhood. The occupation deprived me of everything that mattered to me and my family, our belongings, our work, and the family home that brought us together

Now, there's nothing left for us. We became a scattered family, each in their own place. All I can do is compensate for my father, myself, my family, and save them from death by taking them to safety in the Arab Republic of Egypt.

But I'm also helpless because leaving Gaza requires paying $6000-$7000 per person. I hope you can help me achieve this goal so that I can save my family, help them, and rebuild my dreams anew.
