Hi folks,

My name is Neil and the man in the clip was my dear old dad Eoin.

Between 2014 and his passing in 2019 I was his full time carer. We often had a great time.

During this time I found he had a debt against the house, a compound interest or lifetime mortgage. I also used up the small amount of savings I had as we were reliant on state benefits.

After dad died in July 2019 I spoke to the bank who advised that I get into work as I had no credit rating and no one would lend me money to pay this debt. I got some work through an agency that kept my head above water but not much more.

Covid arrived and I got a job as a key worker supporting NHS when they needed. This kept going but again not much more. Through this I got a full time job in the NHS in July 2022

This was a very stressful time as dad's will was written by McClures who had gone bust.

I've represented myself in court four times without ever knowing if or when the original will would be recovered. Thankfully it did. Many other people have a much worse outcome.

I got enough credit to borrow some money but I'm now maxed out and I have to ask for help. This has been very stressful experience.

The bank now want the money or they can enforce the sale of the house.

I would really like to have somewhere for family and friends from all over the world to stay and see Scotland.

This Redemption Statement is from June so there will be more interest on it now.
