your power lead is absolutely broke

hello borderlands

since 2018 i have been your tireless power lead, it has been a rewarding and interesting place to be, but it has not been without some economic consequences to me.

the workload is quite long and it ramps up, so every year it starts around march and i find myself doing mostly borderland work most of june and all of july and this prevents me from doing other things that make me money.

so in my first burn, 2018 i took out a loan of 20.000 DKK so i could live of that, i did the same in 2019.

2020 and 2021 was bad years for people in production (and i mostly freelance) so i made less than i could have and only minimally eroded my debt.

in 2022 i borrowed money (19.000 DKK) from a friend of mine to do borderlands again (and now she really needs them back.)

but right now im 51.000 DKK in debt.

i write this post to ask if you have something to spare, so i can get out of this hole, pay my friend and keep doing borderlands without sinking myself even further.

i'm also asking the community if we can hire me just for my living expenses: mortgage, food, utilities, cigarettes (10.000 per month) in june and july, so this bad cycle stops.

i should have said something before now, but i'm really bad at giving my problems to others.

the unconference is where this ask started and i had a very positive talk with members about this. so now it is a thing.
