My Story:

اسمي يوسف أبو زور، أنا شاب فلسطيني أعيش في غزة. وكما يعلم الكثير منكم، فإن الوضع في غزة كارثي، والمذابح تحدث كل يوم، أمام أعيننا.

My name is Yousef Abu Zour, I am a young Palestinian man living in Gaza. As many of you know, the situation in Gaza is catastrophic and massacres are happening every single day, right in front of our eyes.

بسبب هذه الحرب ووحشيتها فقدت منزلي وعملي وبعض أفراد عائلتي وأصدقائي وفقدت أشياء كثيرة أحببتها وهذا ما أعطاني الأمل.

Due to this war and its brutality, I have lost my home, my job, some family members and friends and lost many things that I loved and that gave me hope.

وعلى الرغم من أن هذه الحرب خلفت آثارًا مدمرة، إلا أنني أرفض التخلي عن الأمل والبقاء صامدًا. نحن شعب يحب الحياة، وصمودنا ومرونتنا يجعلنا ندفع للأمام كل يوم.

Though this war left devastating effects, I refuse to give up hope and remain steadfast. We are a people who love life and our steadfastness and resilience keeps us pushing forward every day.
