Support Mohammed's Family in Crisis

Hello, I’m Mohammed from the north of Gaza, I’m 23 years old and I was studying electronic management and playing music before the war broke out in October 2023. Before the Rafah crossing closed in spring 2024, my siblings and I (four brothers and two sisters) evacuated to Egypt, but we do not have residency and continue to struggle outside of Gaza. We are unable to work, open bank accounts, and face so many other barriers in our new lives. Meanwhile, my critically ill father Nehad was forced to remain behind in Gaza to deal with end stage renal disease.

Mohammed and Youssef together.
My youngest brother Youssef is 16 years old and has Down Syndrome. Youssef does not speak and does not understand his condition, and suffers from extreme anxiety. He needs treatment and care, including various modes of therapy, because his health condition has deteriorated due to the war.

Youssef.
We, his family, have not found solutions for him and are unable to control his behavior, which has become violent as his anxiety has increased. We have tried many soothing drugs, but we have not found any that have benefited him. The prices of therapy, treatment, and institutions of care are very expensive, and we will not be able to get any solution for him without financial support.

Gaza
My father Nehad remained behind in Gaza; our house was completely destroyed so he is displaced to the south near Deir El Balah. He is a kidney patient undergoing dialysis on a daily basis in Gaza. The dialysis is a stopgap solution, and my father needs to evacuate Gaza and undergo a kidney transplant urgently.

Documentation of Nehad's conditions, including hypertension, end stage renal disease, and daily dialysis kidney transplant candidacy.
My older brother Mahmoud and his family also remain in Gaza. Mahmoud is a doctor helping the injured and sick at Nasser Hospital. He has his own family and 4 children, but he does not have a monthly income. Mahmoud helps people for free and I would like to help him as much as I can.

The cost of my father's treatment and a kidney transplant, and the daily living expenses for all my family in Egypt and Gaza is very high. We lost our house and we lost all our possessions, so donating is something simple you can do to help treat my brother and father and save my family from death. It will be a big thing for us, thank you.
