Detroit Youth Leadership and Mental Health

Hi, I'm Julie of Weathervane Counseling ! I would love for all the wonderful humans I know out there, and don't know, to show up for youth with your dollars <3 Whether it's $1, or $1,000, everything helps.

The money will be split in 3 directions, 
$2,000 to Detroit Heals Detroit - Building a Youth Led Healing Hub.
$2,000 to Detroit Area Youth Uniting Michigan (D.A.Y.U.M.)-Youth Care Kits & Internships for youth.
$2,000 to free Mental Health Services for young people- Including professional one-on-one therapy sessions, group work and engaging with other healing tools such as Yoga and Ice Cream ; ) 

This is an incredible time we are living in. We are currently facing two pandemics- Systemic Racism and Covid 19. The stress and trauma induced by both of these diseases is real. Systemic racism has been real for our Black brothers and sisters for quite some time. Young people need space to process, heal and lead us into brighter, more just, futures. You can help! Invest in our youth!
