Youth World Championships Muay Thai = Olivia

Olivia, 13 years old, was recently asked to represent Team USA for Muay Thai. She will be heading to Antalya, Turkey for IFMA Youth World Championships in late September, early October 2019.
Olivia has been competing for the past year and a half under the direction of Danny Brandt, Dan's Gym, also Team USA Head Coach. Olivia manages nearly straight As academically in honors level class while training 4-5 hours daily, 6 days a week.
Kristen, Olivia's mother, introduced her to combat sports in St. George, UT, under Sensei Joshua Judd, Freedom Fighters Martial Arts. After relocating to Arizona 2 years ago, she ventured to a couple martial art type gyms, before finding Dan's Gym as home 18 months ago. In short time, Danny and Des Brandt had her competing in Muay Thai Strike Fighting.
Over the past 18 or so months, Olivia first competed in USMTO West in April, 2018, taking second place. 3 months later, Danny Brandt had her competing in Des Moines, IA for TBA Sanctioning Muay Thai Nationals wherein she took 1st place defeating a talented southpaw fighter from Canada. In fall of 2018, she engaged in boxing, becoming the Arizona State Champion and Regional Four Corners Champion before heading to Junior Olympics National Championships in Madison, WI, summer of 2019, taking 2nd place at the 125 lb class. Also, in the summer of 2019, she returned to Des Moines, IA for TBA Sanctioning Muay Thai Nationals wherein she lost to 2x World Champion Maile Caras in a close fight. Evidently impressing the various coaches on for Team USA, she was invited to represent the United States Youth Team in the 123 lbs, 12-13 year old division. Other accomplishments include co-main event and title holder for RUF MMA, West Valley Rumble Promotions.
Olivia is fundraising to participate in the IFMA Youth World Championships in Antaly, Turkey. Estimated costs are as follows: $1300 airfare, $500 rental car expenses both USA and Turkey, $1700 for lodging, est 95 euros per day over 12 days, 2 days in other accommodations. $1000 for food and $500 for Coaches and $500 for shopping, total: $5500.
