Roy Miralda

My Dad, Roy Miralda (41years old), tragically lost his life Nov. 5th, 2022, Saturday morning at 5:30am, while he was Cyclying, enjoying his favorite hobby. Roy was on his way to meet other Bicyclists to start their 100 mile Journey from Hollywood to Homestead when he was struck and killed by a car. This was a hit-and-run incident and is still under investigation.

Roy, is a good man, a dedicated husband, a beloved father and grandfather, a protective brother, a humorous Tio, a loving son and Everyone’s best friend. He was full of life and adventure. He lit up every room he walked into and found the good in everyone and everyday. He was the life of the Party, always with a smile on his face! Roy was the type of man that would give you the shirt off his back and help anyone in need at any cost. He was the true definition of a friend. Roy was the Head of our Household and an Anchor for our family. He leaves behind his loving wife Kathy, three beautiful children, Niyomi, Adryan and Alexis and two grandchildren Jeremiah and Aaliyah. As you can imagine losing the Anchor of your family comes with Financial Hardships. We are raising funds to help substantiate Roy’s income and relieve the family from the financial burden of monthly bills. We are so grateful for the love and support from our family and friends during this devasting time and greatly appreciate the donations and words of kindness...
