Glen Duncan Needs Our Help

Hey Everyone, one of our musical treasures needs our help!!!! Glen Duncan is a multi-instrumentalist in Nashville, TN with a very impressive resume. He has performed or recorded with Kenny Chesney, The Chieftains, John Denver, Vince Gill, Jimmie Dale Gilmore, Faith Hill, Merle Haggard, Josh Graves, Waylon Jennings, Jim and Jesse, George Jones, The Kendalls, Earl Scruggs, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Barbara Mandrell, Miranda Lambert, Rodney Crowell, Ricky Skaggs, Marty Stuart, Keith Whitley, Emmylou Harris, Elton John, LeeAnn Womack, Tom T. Hall, Mark Knophler, Doyle Lawson, Patty Loveless, Loretta Lynn, Reba McEntire, Tim McGraw, Bill Monroe, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, The Oak Ridge Boys, The Osborne Brothers, Dolly Parton, Hank Snow, The Statler Brothers, George Strait, Randy Travis, Shania Twain, Tammy Wynette and Bob Seger, just to name a few.
I don’t know anyone who is more passionate, creative, dedicated and in love with music as Glen. He is a true hero and inspiration to us fiddlers. I learned more from Glen in a four hour writing session one day than I’ve learned my whole life.
In case you haven’t heard, Glen had a stroke on December 20 which led to a major car crash. This has left him unable to move his left arm and leg. He isn’t able to play any instrument at the moment. As I stated above, no one loves playing music more than Glen Duncan. I’m sure you can imagine how this is affecting him.
While he is showing slow signs of improvement, there is no income for Glen at the moment. His wife is unable to work as well as Glen is requiring full time care for now. There are also many doctor and rehab bills piling up. Glen needs to be in the best rehabilitation facility possible to get exact care for his left hand needs to encourage playing his instruments again. Those places aren’t always covered by insurance.
We are calling on our family, friends and music community to help the Duncan family out. Any amount is greatly appreciated. I love this man with all my heart and if you know him, you love him too. If you don’t know him, I wish you did. He is one of the greatest human beings I’ve ever known. Thank you all so much for your help.
