My volunteering experience

Hi,

My name is Jack and I am a year 10 student who has been offered the opportunity to travel to Zanzibar this summer to volunteer with underprivileged children in a local school in Stone Town.

I have been fundraising for over a year and have met over half of my target.

Unfortunately in June 2024, I sadly lost my mam. This has impacted on my fundraising as I’ve processed the grief and tried to support my siblings.

However as we enter 2025, I have to give my fundraising one final push. I am currently £1400 short of my target, but I am holding events and doing some sponsored events.

I have set up this GoFund me page, incase people are interested in following my journey, I would love to share it with you all in memory of mam who really was my biggest fan.
