Isabella’s fight for life!!! #Bellastrong

Hi, my name is Jaime and I’d like to “introduce” you to my extraordinary Goddaughter/niece Isabella aka “Bella” and/or “Belle.” She is 19 years old and she is beautiful inside & out, she’s a spectacular soccer player, she’s a wonderful daughter, sister, cousin and friend, she’s so loving, kind, smart, strong, brave & ……..is fighting for her life because she has cancer!!!

In May 2021, at the age of 17, Belle was diagnosed with Metastatic Ewing’s Sarcoma!!!! As a result of an injury on the soccer field forcing her to undergo X-rays and various other tests, she was diagnosed with Metastatic Ewing’s Sarcoma!

For anyone who is unfamiliar with Ewing’s consider yourself lucky! It is one of the most aggressive & relentless pediatric cancers! It’s is a beast!

This diagnosis instantaneously changed the lives of Belle and her amazingly wonderful parents Brandy & Justin, and her sensational sisters Adrianna -16 & Gianna-14.

The last 16 months have been hellish to say the least for Belle & her family!! They have done everything they can to keep each other a float throughout this nightmare! However, it’s next to impossible to maintain normalcy while this hell on earth unfolds! Isabella’s father is a NYPD officer and her mother has had to step away from her job, as of last year, in order to care for Belle- as her journey has included many long days and nights spent at the hospital- many extended stays- including present day!

As of two weeks ago Belle’s situation has became dire, as her cancer has spread further and it’s quite aggressive! She is currently preparing to undergo a trial treatment at Memorial Sloan Kettering which will require, once again, long days/many hours/ extended stays at the hospital.

The expenses that come with this challenging journey are exorbitant and insurance only covers so much! To be there for Belle and her medical needs and to continue to show love and support to her parents and sisters while they bounce back and forth from the hospital as they are undoubtedly, once again, going to have to take some away from their jobs and each other!!!

Please, I ask you, with a humble heart, to help support the Rivera family, by taking some stress off their already full plates with donations to help with medical, day-to-day, and any other expenses that may come up.

They were shy and remiss in wanting to reach out for help! However, that’s what friends and family are for! In times such as this, helping hands are all we could ever ask for!
