Support a Family after loss of home due to fire

Hello everyone,

My name is Veronica. Friday we lost our family home due to a fire on Myrtle Ave. Many of you have already been so kind as to help us with donations. I'm making this GoFundMe because many have asked me to. I'm appreciative of anything. This has devastated us all, and my family and I are still trying to cope with the situation. We lost our cats in the fire as well.

My son is taking it harder than all of us because he lost his sensory space. He is 14 with severe autism and is non-verbal. My husband tried so hard to get the fire out and almost could have lost his life. My daughter was stuck upstairs and had to get out from her roof window. My mom witnessed our cats screaming in the fire, and she is also trying to cope.

We are a strong family, and I am thankful every day they all got out safe. You all have been so kind and understanding through this, and I can't even express how thankful we are for all of you who helped us during this time. Thank you.
