Save Bobby Chin's Vision- Eye Surgery Needed
Donation protected
Hello friends,
I am Robert Lee, aka Bobby Chin.
As some of you may know, I have been on a journey to try and save my eyesight. Diabetic Proliferative Retinopathy with Macular Edema has claimed irreparable and total loss of sight in my left eye. After several consultations and various procedures, I now face imminent loss of sight in my right eye, without an immediate intervention.
I have been given only one option to save my eye. This procedure could restore up to 80 percent of my vision. Due to the severity of the damage, I am hoping to have this done as soon as possible to avoid further damage and risk of ineligibility for surgery. They will perform a vitrectomy and treat the macular and retinal detachment and bleeding in the eye. This has been scheduled for early September, 2023.
This condition has affected every area of my life and has caused a significant strain on my livelihood and family resources. Simple, daily tasks have become long and more challenging. It is my deepest hope that I may be blessed to have the chance to have this procedure done. I hope to regain my independence and the confidence to live a healthy, fulfilling life. I am asking for your help to make this surgery possible.
I know that you are all facing challenges of your own. I pray that you too will also have what you need to make it through to brighter days. Thank you very much for allowing me to share my story with you. Your kindness is greatly appreciated and will not be forgotten. May God bless you all abundantly and beyond imagination.
Peace and love to everyone.
With Gratitude,
Bobby
Just to note, my niece Peta-Gaye is managing this fundraiser on my behalf and is available for any inquiries.
