Help Fedor Roleder Fight for His Life

Please pray for Fred, 45 year old husband and father of 5. He had a sudden cardiac arrest where his heart stopped working. CPR was initiated and he was quickly intubated and placed on a heart pump called an Impella and 3 heart supporting medications.

His condition was so serious that he needed to be transported to another hospital for higher level of care. If he did not receive this higher level of care, the doctors said he would not live more than 24-48 hours. He was in such an unstable condition that doctors said there was a 50/50 chance that he might not even make it during the transport to another hospital.

To stabilize him for the trip, he was placed on ECMO, a heart and lung machine that takes over the function of the heart and lungs. He is currently in a higher level of care hospital in Atlanta on the ventilator, a machine that is breathing for him and is in a coma. He is also experiencing multiple organ failure, which includes biventricular heart failure and acute kidney injury. His heart is so weak that it’s still being supported by an Impella and ECMO. He is in a very serious and critical condition, with the doctors still trying to figure out what is going on. Please keep this family in your prayers. He is the sole breadwinner for the family.
