Help Andrea Fight Cancer

Update: First of all thank you so much for all of the prayers and support. We got the results of her latest MRI and the tumor has grown. Andrea is having surgery on Tuesday to remove as much of the tumor as possible. Please continue to pray for healing.
Our family has initiated this fundraising campaign to support our dear sister Andrea O’Brien who was recently diagnosed with an aggressive brain cancer to cover the cost of her care. She has a big fight ahead of her, and she is determined to succeed.

On August 9th an MRI revealed that she had 2 brain tumors. One of the tumors they would only be able to remove 30 – 50%, the other smaller tumor is buried deep within her brain and is inoperable. We are still in the process of getting a 2nd opinion. She is currently not able to work and we are taking a holistic approach to treating her. The funds from this campaign will help cover the cost of this care.

For someone who has been active, fit, and healthy her entire life, being diagnosed with GBM has come as a great shock. We have witnessed what a truly amazing person she is in the face of adversity. Her faith in God’s plan for her life is unshakable and a testimony to us all. Andrea is a loving daughter, sister, mom and grandmother. She has a long road ahead of her and we are all in the fight with her.
