Help the Carlow Family and Ann Recover from Tragic Accident

Hello, myself, Sherry McCutcheon, and some other close friends that are like sisters; Brittany Weir, Terry Traugott, and cousin Betty Cunningham, are trying to raise money for Ann Jackson and Sandra and Jerry Carlow.

On the evening of Thursday, August 29, 2024, Sandra Carlow (who has cerebral palsy), her husband Jerry, and her cousin Ann Jackson, all of Schertz, Texas, were involved in a horrific car crash on their way to Walmart. All were taken to the hospital by ambulance. Their only means of transportation, being their handicap-equipped van, was totaled. Sandra and Ann's wheelchairs were also demolished in the accident.

The accident leaves Sandra, Jerry, and Ann reeling from a variety of injuries.

Sandra had a brain injury, both legs pulverized, a collapsed lung, a cut on her forehead, and her left arm is left in a contracted position. The left side of her head is now numb.

Jerry was left with a broken rib, labored breathing, abrasions, and a vein disorder in both legs.

Ann is suffering from a pelvic fracture and a broken wrist in which they have placed pins and plates.

Both Sandra and Ann are in rehab for 3+ hours twice a week.

Like so many others, with the family already struggling monthly to make ends meet, this was the last thing they needed.

We humbly ask for anyone who can to make a pledge of any amount to help the Carlow's replace their handicap-equipped van, as they will now have more doctor's visits added to their routine after the horrific, unforeseen collision placed them in more dire straits than before.

We set the goal at $60,000 to replace their handicap vans.

The family could also use prepared meals if anyone in the area wants to help with that they would greatly appreciate it.
