Help Ashley with Medical Expenses

Hello, my name is Sarah Rivera and I am raising money for my good friend and coworker Ashley Devine. As many of her friends and family probably know she got COVID back in August and has been dealing with medical issues ever since. She became very sick with COVID and had to be admitted to the hospital where she was put on a ventilator for 15 days. She thankfully was able to pull through and was discharged home at the end of September. Unfortunately, since her hospital stay she has been dealing with nerve damage from being intubated, has needed physical therapy, and several other doctor appointments. She has also had multiple ER visits due to trouble breathing. On December 7th 2021 she was transported up to UW Seattle where she had a dilation of her airway which had become 90% occluded. Doctors told her she was basically breathing through a small coffee straw. The dilation procedure was successful however she will need the same procedure done again on the 23rd of December and another surgery to reconstruct her airway for a more permanent fix. Doctors are saying this surgery at the earliest will be scheduled months from now and in the meantime Ashley is unable to work and has no source of income at this time.

To help Ashley out I am asking for any amount of donations to help with bills and other daily finances. She has used up all of her PTO from work and FMLA financial assistance. She is currently in the process of setting up social security benefits but this can take months. Any help in the meantime is tremendously appreciated and will greatly help Ashley as we get her healthy again. She is strong and a fighter and I know we can help her get through this time. Thank you!
