Help Mika Yoshitake and Sora After Palisades Fire

Dear kind friends and caring strangers,

I am a NYC-based artist and long time friend of Mika Yoshitake and her daughter Sora. It has been my pleasure to work with Mika on various art exhibitions over the years and get to know her as a friend. I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to share the devastating story of them losing their home, car and everything in the Pacific Palisades fire.

Mika and Sora relocated back to LA to start their life again in their beloved city just about a year ago.

Tragically, everything they own was destroyed in the wildfires that swept through Pacific Palisades, leaving them with nothing but the clothes on their backs.

Now, they are facing the unimaginable challenge of starting over from scratch.

This GoFundMe will provide immediate relief and help them with their daily lives. The funds raised will go directly towards:

Basic Necessities – Food, clothing, toiletries, and daily essentials

Temporary Housing and rental car

Furniture and Household Items – Replacing what was lost in the fire

Childcare for Sora

Support for Sora – School supplies and anything needed to give her a sense of normalcy during this difficult time.
